2026 AAAP Abstract Submission Information

General Information

 

We invite you to submit proposals for the 2026 AAAP Annual Meeting and Scientific Symposium, taking place November 12–15, 2026, in Memphis, TN.


AAAP accepts multiple submission types, each with its own guidelines, requirements, and word limits. Submission categories open and close on different dates. All presenters are required to attend and present in person.


Submission types include:


    • Symposia
    • Workshops
    • Film and Media Workshops
    • Case Conferences
    • Paper Sessions
    • Posters


Each submission must designate one chairperson or presenting author. The chairperson and/or presenting author is responsible for completing the abstract submission, submitting all required materials if the abstract is accepted, and registering for and attending the meeting if the abstract is accepted for oral and/or poster presentation.

Submit an Abstract

Important Notices Before You Submit


When the submission period opens for your category, abstracts may be submitted through the online submission system using the link above. Submission portals are only available during the open period for each category. 


    • Submissions are open to clinicians, researchers, health professionals, and students.
    • Case Conference submissions are limited to trainees (fellows, residents, and medical students).
    • AAAP membership is not required to submit an abstract.
    • Submissions that do not follow the appropriate guidelines may not be reviewed.
    • All presenters are required to attend and present in person.


Conflict of Interest (COI) Requirements


When submitting an abstract, all individuals involved in the development of the submission including chairperson, presenting authors, co-authors, moderators, and discussants are required to complete a Conflict of Interest (COI) disclosure.


Presenters must disclose any financial relationships, in any amount, that they have had with ineligible companies within the past 24 months. Ineligible companies are those whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, reselling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients. Presenters may not be employees or owners of an ineligible company.


Your submission will not be considered complete unless all required forms and COI forms are submitted.


All submissions are scored and ranked by the Scientific Program Committee (SPC) and reviewed by the SPC COI Workgroup.
